The Respiratory Mix

The Respiratory Mix is our tried and tested (with incredible proven results!) mix to protect and support the health of your lungs, throat, chest, and overall respiratory system.

The herbs within the mix each play their own part towards decongesting the lungs, soothing irritation, and relaxing the bronchial system. The respiratory mix strengthens the lungs, and helps maintain a healthy sinus function.

Available in a re-sealable pouch, glass jar, or jar refill pack - all options include 5x tea bags.

Mullein

• Is an expectorant, which helps expel excess mucus from the throat or chest
  
• Is a demulcent, which creates a soothing, anti-inflammatory coating over mucous membranes
  
• Is effective at alleviating conditions such as bronchitis, coughs, colds, flu and sinusitis
• Helps detoxify the lungs after quitting smoking

Rose Petals

• Rich in polyphenols and antioxidants that work to protect your body from cell damage
• Eases flu-like symptoms such as coughing and congestion
  

Hibiscus

• Helps soothe a sore throat
  
• Packed with minerals, such as flavonoids, and antioxidants with help with fighting bacteria
• Rich in Vitamin C which may reduce the risk and duration of respiratory infections

Ginger

• Helps relax bronchial restriction
• Breaks down and expels mucus
  
• Boosts immunity
• Improves blood circulation
• Reduces inflammation

For the perfect infusion, boil freshly drawn water and leave to cool for 1-2 minutes, before adding to approximately one teaspoon of tea blend per serving (approximately 300-500ml).

The tea blend may either be infused into the water with a diffuser, or simply added to, and left in, the same mug/cup as the water.

Allow tea blend to diffuse into water before drinking, for around 3-5 minutes, depending on preferred strength.

Storage

Store in cool, dry place away from strong sunlight and odours. Once opened, store in air air-tight container for best quality.
